The Ashdown Golfers is a friendly and welcoming club where good company and great golf go hand in hand. With around 250 members, we offer the ideal balance of competitive golf, an active social scene, and excellent access to tee times throughout the year.
At 5,537 yards, our course has earned a reputation as one of the finest of its kind in the country. It was ranked the UK’s No.1 course under 6,000 yards by Golf World and is currently recognised among Golf World’s GB&I Top 100 courses with green fees under £70, as well as being ranked among the leading courses in Sussex.
While modest in length, the course provides a rewarding test of golf. Tight fairways, undulating greens and carefully positioned pins place a premium on strategy, accuracy and thoughtful course management, ensuring every round remains both enjoyable and challenging.

Our course, a touch under 6,000 yards at 5,537 yards, has consistently been voted one of the best in the country in its category; the number one course under 6,000 yards by Golf World in 2013, 14th in Sussex by Top 100 Golf Courses, and most recently a GB&I Top 100 Course by Golf World for courses with green fees of less than £70.
