The Ashdown Golfers offers a refreshing alternative to traditional golf club membership.
Playing from the acclaimed West Course at Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club, members enjoy exceptional access to one of the South East’s most enjoyable courses, together with a friendly and welcoming club environment.
With around 250 members, the club strikes a balance that many golfers are searching for. There is a thriving calendar of competitions and social events, yet members continue to enjoy the freedom to book and play without the overcrowding that has become increasingly common elsewhere.
The West Course may measure just 5,537 yards, but it has earned national recognition for the quality of golf it provides. Fast-running fairways, natural heathland terrain and subtle, strategic challenges ensure it remains a course that rewards thoughtful golf and stands up to repeat play.

An administration fee of £40 will be added to the subscription to cover affiliation fees to England Golf, Sussex County Golf Union, and golf insurance costs.
The Ashdown Golfers membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June.

| Competitions and Handicaps | Members may take part in a comprehensive golfing calendar that includes weekly competitions and matches against other clubs. The Ashdown Golfers are a proud affiliated member of the Sussex County Golf Union and England Golf. Members can access various SCGU member benefits such as discounted green fee rates at top courses across the country via the Sussex County Card Scheme. An official WHS Handicap and associated insurance are provided to you as a result of our England Golf affiliation. |
