Women’s Golf
Our Women's Section is a small but wonderfully friendly group of golfers. Whether you are new to the game, returning after a break, or a more experienced player, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment here. Our members represent a wide range of abilities, but are united by a shared love of golf and a friendly, inclusive spirit. We enjoy playing both social and competitive golf, supporting one another's progress, and creating opportunities for golfers of all experience levels to feel part of the club. Above all, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming community where friendships are formed, confidence grows, and golf is enjoyed together.
Weekly Golf & Regular Play
Unlike many clubs, the Ashdown Golfers is a fully integrated club where men and women can play together in all club events and competitions.
The ladies section also enjoys exclusive tee times every Thursday morning—a great time for friendly competition and catching up.

These events combine a healthy spirit of competition with plenty of laughter and encouragement.
A Strong Network of Friends
One of the joys of being part of the Ladies Section is the network of friendships we have built through golf.
We regularly play Friendly Matches with other clubs, helping us build lasting connections across the region. Many of our ladies also take part in Ladies Opens across the county, forming teams and enjoying days out at other courses.
In addition, we participate in mixed friendly competitions with the men, creating even more opportunities to play and socialise.
Our Annual Ladies Away Day
One of the absolute highlights of the golfing calendar is our annual Ladies Away Day.
All of the ladies meet at another club to enjoy a full day of golf, laughter, and great company. It’s always a fantastic day out, a change of scenery, and a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of our section.
